Arizona offers a few hunts to accommodate your favorite method of hunting. The first hunt is archery season, which runs the entire month of January, the next season is the H.A.M. (handgun, archery & muzzleloader) hunt, followed by the General Rifle season, which is the last weekend of February.
These hunts are conducted in the mountains of Southern Arizona. Spot and stalk is our preferred method of hunting. One of the most difficult parts of this hunts can be locating a herd, so expect to spend a great deal of time behind your bino's.
For those of you interested in our archery hunts, we can combine this hunt with archery deer, you may choose from a Mule Deer or Coues deer buck.
Javelina permits are issued by drawing only with the 2011 application deadline being October 12th. Many of the tags are left over after the initial drawing and become available on a first come, first served basis.
This is a very unique trophy. No matter what your weapon of choice is you will find Javelina hunting in Arizona is a great challenge with a lot of excitement.
